Xbox 360 Core System to be Discontinued

At GameStop an e-mail has come down informing managers to take down any Xbox 360 core system signs and advertisements because once the current stock is gone there will not be anymore. The reason for this? It seems stores are preparing for the rumored new Core System that comes with wireless controllers and a 256MB memory card.

Ah, this makes a lot of sense as I have been trying to chase up these systems for a customer at work recently and I think that there isn’t a store with one of the Core packs left.
