It has been a while since we have published a WoW Report. The main reason was because I was not playing the game that much. Now the expansion The Burning Crusade is out so it’s time to get back into the game! We are going to try to make this a once a week feature published every Thursday. So in this week’s WoW report we will show you the new area called Outland and tell you a little about our questing in this area. Read on for more!

Well once I installed WoW Burning Crusade the first thing I noticed was that the login screen was changed. Nothing flashy here, but it’s a nice change from the old login screen. The first thing that I wanted to do was check out the new area Outland. So to do that I headed to the Dark Portal. To get to the Dark Portal get to the Blasted Lands and head south east. You will find what looks like a crater. In the middle you will find the Dark Portal.

Just go ahead and run through the portal and you will be transported to Outland. When you arrive in Outland you will be at the top of a huge set of stairs. Head down and go to the left. If you go straight you are headed right into a bunch of elites. So head left and find the gryphon master. From there you can get a ride to Honor Hold.

At Honor Hold you will find a bunch of quests. Most of the ones you will first get if you are only level 60 are quests that will get you acquainted with Outland. Ones that want you to go kill a certain number of things or go talk to someone.

Outland is more or less a barren desert. Not somewhere I usually like to quest, but oh well. Doing the quests was easy and I was able to do most of them without a group. I picked up some new gear including The Staff of Twin Worlds and the Wanderer’s Stitched Trousers. I’m now about half way to 61. Nothing big really accomplished, but that’s what questing is for!
