We talked about Hellfire Peninsula in our Burning Crusade report. Hellfire Peninsula is in Outland and is where you will be doing most of your questing once you pass through the Dark Portal. So in this week’s WoW Report we will go through some of the more interesting quests in Hellfire Peninsula.

When you first go through the Dark Portal go ahead over to the left and jump on the gryphon and head to Honor Hold. Here you will be able to pickup a ton of quests. You might also want to set your hearthstone to the inn here. It’s an easy way back if you have to go to Ironforge or another city that is not in Outland. There is also a random event that happens at Honor Hold. Green pieces of debris fall from the sky. It is really funny because the people of the town all scatter. If you get hit by a piece of the debris you are stunned for a few seconds.

Ok onto questing! One very easy quest that you can pickup is Hellfire Fortifications. In this quest you have to fortify 3 forts to near Hellfire Citadel. The 3 forts are Overlook, Stadium, and Broken Hill. To complete this quest just go over to the forts flag yourself PVP and wait for the bar to move to your faction side. This may sound simple, but the Horde have the same quest so they are trying to do it too. If an enemy is flagged PVP you will not be able to capture the fort. So you have to fight to get it! If you do this quest with a group it is easy. One thing to note Rogues, you can’t be in stealth; you have to come out of stealth to capture a fort.

You should also pickup the Fel Spirits quest at Honor Hold. Here you are given an Anchorite Relic. You need to head southwest down to the Gor’gaz Outpost. Here you will find Shattered Hand Orcs. You want to use the Relic and then kill the Orc while you are by the Relic. After you have killed an Orc it will release a Fel Spirit. You have to kill 10 of them to complete the quest. I found it easy to place the Anchorite Relic at the entrance to the Gor’gaz Output and pull the Orc’s.

When you turn the Fel Spirits quest in Assistant Klatu will give you the Digging for Prayer Beads quest. This is a very simple quest to complete. Once you get it go outside and talk to Warrant Officer Tracy Proudwell (The lady you got the Hellfire Fortifications quest off of). Talk to her and you will see that she sells a Fei Fei Doggy treat. In order to get the dog treat you need a Sparkling Zicron, Maiden’s Anguish, and Silken Thread. All of these items can be purchased in Honor Hold. The Sparkling Zicron and Silken thread can be bought in the Inn and the Maiden’s Anguish can be bought from Alchemist Gribble at the tower just south of the Inn (Up on the hill). You will end up spending 2G 15S on these items.
