If you are among the masses that would love to purchase a Wii console, but simply can’t find one, the tides will change, eventually. According to Nintendo of Europe they are still struggling to meet demand. Laurent Fischer has no clue when the production can finally ramp up, but it certainly won’t be in days, these things take time, specifically 90 days. Although I’d hardly say the issue is production, which Nintendo has been fairly decent at (6 million by the end of March), but the production was just something no one could have predicted.

"We’re planning to increase the production capacity but it’s not something that can be done in a couple of days. We have to be patient."
