The lawsuit between Sony and Immersion Coorperation has become slightly notorious in the industry. Sony has been butting heads with them for a long time about use of rumble in their controllers. Something Nintendo and Microsoft coughed up, but Sony remained stubborn to pay for the use of the technology. Now the issue has come to a close with Sony being sued for 91 million dollars. A hefty price to pay. Now that all is said and done, the two companies are once again playing nice and talking about possible inclusion of rumble in future products. Unfortunately though, for the PS3, it’s a little late to tack it on without leaving the early adopters in the cold. And the last people Sony needs to piss off are its early adopters.
