If you have not heard Microsoft has amended their Achievement point policy. Allowing games to go past the 1000-point mark. Games are now allowed 250 more points. Well it looks like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be the first game to take advantage of this with their upcoming expansion Shivering Isles. The new expansion set to be out in Spring will add 250 Gamerscore points over 10 achievements.

This is the total allowed by disc-based Xbox 360 titles via premium downloadable content, so Oblivion is maxed out. We are not sure if the Shivering Isles expansion will come out before the Xbox Rewards contest is over on April 12th. So don’t wait around to get those points!
