No PSP Redesign

Sony has shot down growing rumors about the redesign of the current PSP model. A lot of companies are beginning to take this approach, but the features Sony really needs to address the company doesn’t see as an issue. Consumers are wanting a smaller version of the device, but this would involve shrinking the screen size, which was one of their biggest market ploys to begin with. Instead, Sony has suggested that they may simply add a few new colours to choose from to bolster sales of the unit.
