No news for Nintendo at GDC

Quite possibly the worst news a Nintendo fan could receive just a few days before GDC was recently presented by Game|Lifes Chris Kohler. Due to an upcoming major stock trade, Nintendo employees will not be able to disclose any forward looking information. This means that they can discuss products past and present, but cannot disclose any information on the future of either of their consoles or upcoming games.

This translates to no new information, it doesn’t mean they don’t have it, or don’t want to dish it out, it just means they can’t. Chris reports the same will apply to both Nintendo of America executives Reggie Fils-Aime and Perrin Kaplan. However, it is not known whether this has any effect on Shigeru Miyamoto’s keynote which happens Thursday morning. Let us pray to the videogame gods that this won’t hold strong or Nintendo fans are going to be extremely let down.
