If you haven’t heard of the rumors surrounding the new Xbox 360 SKU, you probably need to put yourself back in the loop. The rumors about the new 360 which will feature among other things, HDMI output, a 120 gig harddrive and an oh-so-sexy black exterior have now placed it on a May 1st release. There is no denying that something is in the works, leaked hardware, and half denials about providing a better hard drive solution have had us scratching out chins. What’s fueling the recent rumors? Well it seems Microsoft has slowed down shipments in what can only appear to be an effort to flush stock and make way for the new product. Of course retailers confirming they are to be receiving shipments only seems to add stock. The feature I am most excited for? Maybe the hardware will actually not break down every few months, but maybe that’s asking a little too much.
