Memorial to Virginia Tech in Second Life
April 18th, 2007 by Bob Buskirk

The school shooting at Virginia Tech has been the biggest news story for the past few days now. Some have actually blamed video games for the tragedy, others have tried to remember the ones that were lost in the tragedy. One Virginia Tech teacher has created a virtual memorial in Second Life. He has also added a script that allows visitors to leave messages.
Now I know it’s not real life, but a lot of people around the world have been affected by this tragedy and cannot do anything about it so Second Life gives them that opportunity.
