January figures for the three major consoles have finally been released. Figures were actually totalled over 5 consecutive weeks, instead of 4, something the NPD group has to do every few years to play catch up. The Wii sales (unsurprisingly) takes North America with nearly a cool half a million units. A slight decline from the 600 000 pushed in December. Although I would chalk that up to production, not lack of consumers. Xbox 360 showed sales of 294 000, while PS3 had 244 000 units moved.
