Nintendo has launched the full version of the Opera browser for the Wii. They are calling it the internet channel. This full version is supposed to be improved from the trial version. New features include a manual zoom and built-in search engine functionality that is customizable.

The internet channel will be free until June 30th. After that you will have to shell out 500 Wii points for it. I’m still really not a big fan of browsing the internet on any console, that’s what my computer is for, and it’s a hell of a lot faster!
