Trauma Center: Second Opinion

Trauma Center: Second Opinion

The original Trauma Center was one of the best DS games released last year. It put you in the role of an up-and-coming surgeon who becomes embroiled in a series of surprisingly intense medical emergencies. The game is essentially a remake of the first one with redrawn artwork, new story sequences, and a redesigned control scheme for the Wii remote. Although it is not a sequel to the original it does give you a chance to play some new story sequences and instead of using the old controls you use the Wii’s remote to do the surgeries. If you were a fan of the original Trauma Center then you should take a look at Trauma Center: Second Opinion.

Call of Duty 3

Call of Duty 3

I’m sure most of you have heard of the Call of Duty series. I played through both Call of Duty 1 and Call of Duty 2 for the PC and really enjoyed each game. The campaigns in each are fun and you feel like you are actually accomplishing something, rather than just randomly shooting things. With the Wii’s new intuitive controls it really feels like you are part of the action and actually fighting in the war. The game should take around 8 to 10 hours to complete, but after that there is not much of a replay value because there is no multiplayer. If you enjoyed the first 2 Call of Duty games they I would check out Call of Duty 3, just even to check out the new controls.

Rayman Raving Rabbids

Ridge Racer 7 - PS3

The Gamecube was more of a party system with games like Super Smash Brothers; well the Wii is the same, especially with its controls it makes it easy for anyone to play the games. Rayman Raving Rabbids is one of the most popular party games for the system out right now (besides Wii Sports). If you are used to the old Rayman games than you are in for a surprise. Rayman Raving Rabbids is comprised of around 70 mini-games that take you through the single player mode. Each mini-game using the Wii’s motion sensing controls in one way or another so it is always fun. The game is funny and the controls work great. If you are looking for a fun game that will keep you laughing then check out Rayman Raving Rabbids.

Well that’s it for Wii games. Right now there is not many games out right now, but you should definitely check some of these out! Also the Wii comes with Wii Sports which is a great party game for anyone. It features golf, bowling (personal favorite), tennis, and boxing. All the games use the Wii Remote like you are actually doing the activity.
