Gaming Excellence has managed to get some very interesting information pertaining to GTA IV at the Playstation Holiday Preview Event held in Toronto recently. Now the developers at Rockstar and some pretty notable items to divulge.

Firstly the developers at Rockstar have been testing different plots and scenarios, and even thought about unlocking the world for the player at the very start of the game.

Some fans enjoyed this system, as it gave them the incentive to move through the story and continue playing the game, while other fans thought that it was very unecessary.

Secondly and most importantly, Rockstar is aiming for a multiplayer component to compliment the singleplayer, with up to 16 player fighting in various multiplayer modes.

GTA IV is due for release in Q1-Q2 2008 on PS3 and Xbox 360
