France Gives a Tax Break to Game Makers
March 22nd, 2007 by Brian
France is the land run by Atari and Ubisoft, two extremely big studios in the gaming industry, and now they and other studios will be receiving a tax break from the government in order to promote more game studios from being created in the booming industry. The exemption still has to be approved by the European Union, and are looking for games that are culutrally relevant (contain some French).
Hopefully these and more examples like it are passed in order to push the industry along from infancy to adulthood.
