Wireless Network Adapter
The days of wired networking are over. Almost everyone I know has a wireless router or access point in their house. The Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter plugs into the USB port on the back of the Xbox 360 and clips right onto the back for easy placement. It supports 802.11 a/b/g, and is solely powered by the USB connection so there is no need for an external AC adapter. This makes streaming movies and music to your Xbox 360 even easier!
Live Vision Camera
The Xbox Live Vision Camera is one of the newest released accessories for the Xbox 360. The video camera seamlessly integrates with the Xbox 360 system. The camera enables you to have a custom gamer picture, send photo messages, and video chat VIA Xbox live. Many new games coming out soon will take advantage of the Vision Camera; the most popular game to use the camera with right now is UNO.
Xbox Live Gold Card
If you are a first time Xbox buyer than odds are you do not have an Xbox Live subscription. Without Xbox live you are limited to single player or LAN games. Xbox live opens a new online gaming arena for you, you can play against gamers from all over the world. With Xbox 360 Microsoft has taken it to the next level with downloadable game demos, movie trailers, and more. The Gold Card allows you to subscribe to the service without having to enter your credit card information.
Well that’s about it for the Xbox 360. There are still a bunch more accessories, but these are the ones we felt are the most popular and would be something you might pickup when first buying the system. Stay tuned for more buyers guides for all of the latest gaming systems.
