News about the new Prince of Persia movie from Disney has been scare. Planned as a major replacement once Pirates of the Carribean wraps up, the game inspired movie is developed by Jerry Brukheimer and might actually be the first big blockbuster game to movie development. It might, it could also go the way of all those other game based movies too. Doom anyone? The movie is already under production and scheduled for a 2008 release. Keep an eye out on this project, it might not be long before Prince of Persia becomes a household name.
